Biscuits
Following on from what I can only describe as “a frank and open exchange of views” in our little corner of Cimex Towers, I have come to give due consideration to that age-old connundrum - What is the best biscuit?
It has become quite clear that Ben’s opinion cannot be trusted, given that he has publicly decried the merits of the mighty “Malted Milk”, I’ve courted controversy by besmirching the much loved HobNob for being “a bit mealy”, and we’ve hit a thorny issue when it comes to the status of the Jaffa Cake - is it a small, biscuit-like cake, or is it a cake-like biscuit?
We have, however, reached consensus on one issue - Rich Tea are piss-poor for dunking. Fact.
It appears that this is indeed an area of some import, with it’s own dedicated home on the web.
One thing is for sure, though - I’m a Digestive man. I’m equally at home with the chocolate-covered variants, but for me the empitome of dunkability is the McVities Digestive.
