This is the website of Andy Hawkes, an aspiring Evil Genius and International Master Criminal.
While he’s working on building up the vast criminal infrastructure needed to support a bid for total world domination, he builds websites. Hell, it pays the bills.
Andy currently works for Cimex, a tip-top studio in Shoreditch, but has been known to build sites on his own time too. If you want one building, why not email him and let him know - he’s actually quite good.
Andy believes in web standards, usability, and accessibility.
Andy has been tinkering with the web for about 12 years now, and remembers a time before Internet Explorer. He remembers when Lynx was new and exciting. And he remembers when Mosaic was launched.
Andy is incapable of producing old-school ugly tag-soup web pages. Sure, he started out coding like that, but he got better. Now he writes nice lean, clean pages, and that means that they are accessible to everyone and place well in search engines too.
Andy has now had just about enough of talking about himself in the third person. He thinks it makes him sound like some kind of cheesy WWE wrestler.
